One page, the whole practice.

Each Quiet Days journal has a companion card: the book’s daily practice reduced to a single printable page. All three are free, all three work without the book, and there are exactly three — one for each journal.

What they are

The smallest useful version of a book.

  1. One page, no app

A PDF you print or keep on a tablet. Nothing to install, no login, no sync. It works on a desk at five in the morning.

  2. The practice, not a sample

A card is not a teaser chapter. It carries the full daily shape of its journal, so it is genuinely usable on its own.

  3. Two minutes, twice a day

Every card is designed to be answered with a pen and then put down. If a card needs explaining, it is not finished.

Choose one, or take all three

Three cards, three temperaments.

The Stoic card is a set of questions for framing a day. The Kaizen card is a single commitment and an honest answer about it. The Ascend card is the pattern and the pause, one volume to a side. Every image below is the actual print file.

  • The Mind Field Daily Framework Card: a portrait page headed ‘The Daily Practice’, with three numbered morning questions, a row of the four Stoic virtues, four numbered evening questions, and the closing line ‘This day will not return.’

    Mind Field Daily Framework Card

Seven questions on one portrait page. Three in the morning to set the terrain, four at night to walk it back, with the four virtues in between.

  • The One Percent Daily Card, front: a landscape card headed ‘ONE PERCENT · Daily Card’ with ruled space for today’s one percent, the question ‘Did it?’ with circles for yes, not yet and chose rest, and a line for one thing noticed.

    Journal · Kaizen

    One Percent Daily Card

Three fields on the front — today’s one percent, did it, one thing you noticed. The ten Kaizen principles on the back.

    • Front of the Ascend Framework Card, marked ‘VOLUME ONE · THE DESCENT’: the headline ‘Notice the pattern clearly, before you try to change it.’ above five numbered fields — today’s mountain, the hidden need, one micro-shift, future-self check-in, and a sabotage score marked nought to ten.
      Front · The Descent
    • Back of the Ascend Framework Card, marked ‘VOLUME TWO · THE SUMMIT’: the headline ‘Create space between the pull and the choice.’ above five numbered fields — today’s pull, the gap, one micro-action, highest-self check-in, and the same sabotage score.

    Ascend Framework Card

One card for the whole series, one volume to a side. Five fields on the front for the descent — the mountain, the hidden need, a micro-shift, a future-self check-in and the score. Five on the back for the climb, where the mountain becomes the pull and the shift becomes a pause.

Each card is delivered from its own page so the follow-up notes match the practice you picked. Taking one does not sign you up for the others.

If you are not sure

Pick by the question you would rather answer.

There is no wrong order and no bundle to buy. Each card is a different first question about the same day.

“What is actually in my control today?”
Take the Stoic card. It is built for clearer thinking and fewer reactions, and it closes the day with an honest accounting.
The Mind Field card
“What is the smallest thing I could do today?”
Take the Kaizen card. It is built for starting something and keeping it, with rest counted as a legitimate answer.
The One Percent card
“Why do I keep stopping in the same place?”
Take the Ascend card. It is built for the pattern rather than the plan — naming what you are avoiding, then finding the pause that interrupts it.
